Issue No. 01

Inaugural dispatch: what the phrase "black box" hides

The publication's first newsletter dispatch — the cornerstone essay in summary, the regulation-watch roundup for the EU AI Act implementation calendar, and a note on the corrections framework.

  • From the cornerstone: "What 'Black Box AI' Actually Means in 2026"
  • Regulation watch: the EU AI Act implementation register, May update
  • Field note: what an enterprise audit of an agentic stack actually looks like
  • Corrections column: the publication's first three published corrections

Cadence

The newsletter ships approximately monthly. When a regulation calendar or a piece of primary news drives faster cadence, the publication ships a "Regulation watch flash" of no more than 600 words. Flashes are not stockpiled and not advertised in advance.

What we will not put in the newsletter

Marketing, sponsorships, third-party promotions, surveys without a published purpose, or anything that looks like growth-hacked engagement copy. We will not split-test subject lines. We will not chase opens.

Format

Plain-text-first email with optional minimal HTML. No tracking pixels. No click-tracked URLs. If we ever need to track delivery for a deliverability investigation, we say so in the newsletter that triggered the investigation.
